I use for each DRL LED bulb 2 resistors of 39 Ohm / 50W (parallel = ~20 Ohm). The resistors are mounted on an alumnium angle bar. The temperature of the resistors is approximately 40 degrees Celsius. No ventilator needed!

Wires are going through the original socket and are soldered to the contacts.

Many thanks for the translation!! Somebody on a Dutch Seat-forum started about this modification, but was unsure about the part numbers. After I had the correct part numbers I started the modification. Me and other Exeo drivers have used some of the modifications, hints and tips from this forum. So now it's time to give something back!

I only used the LEDs. Replaced the resistors with ones with cooling body.

Drilled holes in the socket for the wires.

Resistors are getting appr. 40 degree Celsius. I haven't notice anything melting.
