@Jal te dejo dos notas que escribí sobre la marca estadounidense Hupmobile. Una sobre el primer automóvil que fabricó en el año 1909 y que fuera expuesto en Autoclásica 2015:

Thanks for sharing! Hupmobile really represents a fascinating chapter of automotive history — from its founding in 1909 in Detroit to being one of the early pioneers of all-steel car bodies and innovations like “free-wheeling” and fresh-air heaters.

I’ll check out the articles you linked for more details on the 1909 model and that 1923 trip between Mendoza and Buenos Aires you mentioned.
