Is self-education a good idea or not? I thought many people would try to study on their terms and be successful. They believe self education is the best way to learn.

Self-education is a great option, but there are many cons. The first advantage is that you can choose the order in which the information will be presented to you.

Another advantage is the fact that you don’t need to spend too much on education. The Internet is full courses, tutorials and books. This is the obvious advantage and it's not worth discussing.

Self-discipline is the biggest pro and con. This trait is not regarded as a positive or negative by authors. They only list the pros and cons.
