Driving the Nissan Leaf (日産 リーフ) on FM4
I'm driving the 100% Electric, Zero Tailpipe Emissions, Nissan Leaf at the Top Gear Test Track on Forza Motorsport 4.
Launched in Japan since December 2010, the Nissan Leaf is the brand's first mass-produced electric vehicle that provides ZERO TAILPIPE EMISSIONS and it is powered by electricity. It won the 2010 Green Car Vision Award, the 2011 European Car of the Year award, the 2011 World Car of the Year, and now, the 2011-2012 Car of the Year Japan. As of now, most Leafs worldwide are produced at the Nissan Oppama plant at Tochigi, Yokohama, Japan.
Under the hood, the EM61 electric motor produces 80kW of power and 280Nm of torque. It can go for about 124Wh/km in one full charge.
Jeremy Clarkson drove the Nissan Leaf on the Top Gear EV Day Trip episode along with James May driving the Peugeot iON, which is a rebadged version of the Mitsubishi i MiEV.
